Lynne & Eddie's Wedding
Saturday 3rd August 2019 saw DBP at The Keavil House Hotel in Crossford. The weather was supposed to be a moderately sunny day, however it lied the sun was beaming, the rays were beating down. So they decided to have their ceremony outside, my second outside wedding this year.
I met up with Lynne & her Bridesmaid's Jenn, Amy, Sarah & Chloe. It was all go with hair & make up all setup & conveyoring them round and round like clockwork. Makeup was with the wonderful Helen McNeill & hair was with the equally wonderful Linzi Smart, if you would like to see more of their work I have a suppliers page on my website with a recommended link to both their site's. Linzi & Helen had great banter with everyone & professional results, which made the morning go so fast & easy.
The only thing we all could of done without is the wasps, they seemed to be out in force, which became a common theme throughout the day. This did not stop the morning as Jenn was to the rescue getting them out of the room. Or should I say super organised Jenn. I was told of all Jenn's organisation skills which was way beyond my skills but very impressive indeed.
After all the chatting & laughing we started to realize it was almost time for the dresses to be put on & final touch ups of make up & hair, high heel protectors, which Lynne struggled with in her amazing dress, which you will see an image of her bridesmaid helping these on.
I must say Lynne was so relaxed & took everything in her stride(if she was nervous she is very good at hiding it).
Ceremony time & the sun was still beating down but it was not effecting this pair or their family & friends. One by one the bridesmaid's came down the aisle, then it was the moment Eddie was waiting for Lynne was brought down by her Dad George & stepdad Bill which was a wonderful moment to see & capture. The ceremony was a perfect blend of tradition & personal moments from the reading & the Humanist. One of the highlights was Ross waiting to give the rings over to his Mum & Dad it was so sweet & he did a great job.
It was time for the formal group photo's & then off for some couple shots, this is where it got interesting & funny. Eddie & I had some great banter to & forth with one occassion where I was setting up my light stand & I agreed with him not realising I had agreed that he was a bit of hard work, I only cottoned on when Lynne & Eddie went into a fit of laughter then it struck me what Eddie had said & I straight away apologised & gave my side of the story but I think it was actually quite funny & all added to the relaxed mood in what I captured.
The day proceeded like it should & we had the speeches before the meal & heard some amazing & embarrassing life events from both, I won't divulged the stories but trust me they were hilarious.
We ended the night with the night time shoot. I would like to thank Lynne & Eddie for making me apart of their day & it was a true pleasure to spend this special day with you, your family & friends.
